To take a screenshot in a Lenovo laptop running Windows, you can use the following methods:
- Full-Screen Screenshot: To take a screenshot of the entire screen, press the "Print Screen" button (sometimes labeled as "PrtScn" or "PrtScr") located at the top right-hand side of your keyboard. The screenshot will be saved to your clipboard.
- Window Screenshot: To take a screenshot of the active window, press the "Alt" key and the "Print Screen" key together. The screenshot of the current window will be saved to your clipboard.
- Snipping Tool: If you want to capture a specific part of the screen, you can use the Snipping Tool. To open the Snipping Tool, go to the Start menu and type "Snipping Tool" in the search bar. Once it appears, click on it to open the program. Use the tool to select the area of the screen you want to capture and save the screenshot.
- Windows + Shift + S: This is a quick method to capture a specific part of the screen. Press the Windows key, the Shift key, and the S key together. Your screen will be dimmed, and you can drag to select the portion of the screen you want to capture. The screenshot will be saved to your clipboard.
Once you have taken the screenshot, you can paste it into an image editing program or document by pressing "Ctrl" and "V" together.
